Trans-Atlantic Trio
In a bit of a first for Bray Jazz – we’ve got a strong trans-Atlantic vibe going on with our opening night of programming at The Harbour Bar, this year.
All three of the bands playing the busy seafront venue have an American-Irish flavour, including singer/songrwriter Zoe Basha, who has French-American heritage, with her six-piece band playing the 8.30pm Friday slot, at the Harbour.
Before and after Zoe’s gig will be two great trios led by very fine American pianists – Greg Murphy, with Cormac O’Brien and Shane O’Donovan (at 6.30pm) and Bill Carrothers, appearing with Kevin Brady and Dave Redmond at 10.15pm. It’s gonna be quite a night!

Xhosa Cole
We’ve had a change in programming to this year’s original schedule. Regrettably, Amy Gadiaga has been unable to join us.
We’re delighted however to have arranged for award-winning saxophonist Xhosa Cole to visit.
He’ll play Whale Theatre in Greystones on Friday night, 2nd May.
