A successor to the acclaimed CEO Experiment, the band he co-led, and which provided a welcome new voice to the Irish scene for over a decade, Osio has assembled here an ensemble of players from across the globe – Italian saxophonist Gianni Gagliardi, Spanish drummer Gonzalo Del Val, his long-time collaborator Peter Erdei from Hungary on bass, and virtuosic Cork based trombonist Paul Dunlea in this great new group.
This show is a rare opportunity for the band members to assemble, and provides them with an opportunity to officially launch an album which they started working on before the pandemic, but which COVID-19 derailed until recently.
‘Next Experiment’ offer a funky mix of infectious Latin American grooves, jazz, and cool and rhythms.
