Aleka Potinga presents hip cosmopolitan sounds with an eastern flavour, music of a trans-national flavour and that is liberally spiced with downtown jazz, bossa nova, art rock and inprov.
Born in Bucharest, Romania, she’s a vocalist, cellist, composer and lyricist who has made her home in Ireland.
‘Romania: Songs of Love and Longing’ is a recording and band project that Aleka created last year, and brought back to her home country with a well received concert tour.
